We, Foscam.co.uk (aka Foscam Digital Technologies and now Amcrest Technologies), are an independent United States based distributor of "Foscam" branded products. We have been offering telephone support, UK local warranty and building the Foscam brand in the UK for the past 7 years. However, we are deeply saddened to report that, even after all of this, our overseas suppliers have decided to undercut us and supply to our major customers directly. For this reason, we have no choice but to suspend telephone support for all Foscam branded products. If you have purchased a Foscam camera directly from us or from one of our authorized retailers, technical support is still available via email at email@example.com.

A:/ Login to your wireless router by entering the IP address of your router intoyour browser. Then enter your username and password if prompted. Look underWireless settings for an option called ‘Wireless mode’ or ‘Wireless Channels’ setthat option to ‘802.11g&802.11b’ or ‘802.11b/g’ Restart the router, restart thecamera, wait 45 seconds and it should work

Q:// How do I install the firmware?
A/ Go to the website(www.foscam.us) and look under the ‘Tools & Support’section. Download the FI8908.FI8908W.rar file. Extract it using winrar. It should give you a bin file. Make sure the camera is connected via Ethernetcable and powered on. Open IP Camera Tools and right click on your camera.Select ‘Upgrade Firmware’. Then select Upgrade system Firmware. Point to thebin file that you extracted and click on ok. Your firmware should be updated.Shut down the camera and restart it. Wait 45 seconds. Restart IP camera Toolsand it should work wirelessly.

a) Double Click on your IP Camera Tool Icon
b) Then left click once on your Camera’s IP address
c) Right click on it and choose ‘Network Configuration’
d) The ‘Gateway’ number is your router Ip address ( write it down) OR

c) Go to ‘find’ and type in the brand name of your router (press enter)

A:/ login in to your router by putting the router’s IP address into the browser.Then look under wireless and click on ‘Channel SSID’, write downthe SSIDname. Then click on the side the word ’Security’, write down the Security Type,Authentication, Encryption Technique and the (PSK)Pr-Shared Key

A:/ Click on IP Camera Tools. Left click on the IP address once. Then right clickon the IP address. Click on ‘Network Configuration’. Change the number in HttpPort to any number i.e. 8081 Press OK. Then Change the ports on your router byLogging in to your router. Go to ‘Virtual Server’ or ‘Port Forwarding’ and changethe inbound port and the outbound port to the same number you set the camerasport to. i.e . 8081
